I applied several times to adopt different dashunds that had come into their rescue. They had me jumping through all sorts of hoops in their application. Was dog neutered? Done. Could we handle a bigger dog? Sent photos of when we had a lab who unfortunately passed. Had we experience of separation anxiety. Yes due to already having a dashund in lockdown .Get permission from landlord to have dog. Which we had to do several times as the rescue didn't like the wording on the consent letter. And then didn't even have the courtesy to tell us our applications were not successful.We have a loving home to offer but I think it's only if your face fits that you get any chance of adopting a dog. Completely put me off rescues for life. We are now just going to go to a breeder and buy a dog. Less hassle.
