Bloody appalling!! DONT DO IT! Got ours installed 2 years ago, & now the battery has stuffed out already and we havent heard from them since March 2020. I've had to call on multiple occasions since then & speak to incompetent agents & repeat myself over & over again only to be told 'I have to email a team & get back to you'. I was given conflicting info every time as to what the problem was. First it was that they didn't know what was actually wrong & whether it was a fault or battery replacement & them in Nov 20 we finally got a tech to come out & then he couldn't get readings from the converter & another tech needed to assist. Had to chase up the revisit & finally 3 guys came out this time & did whatever they needed to do before it was confirmed that battery definitely needs to be replaced & now I appear to be on some long list with others on the same boat. Still no letter to confirm that there is a backlog or COVID delays or any confirmation to explain the reason for this long wait. I'm concerned that the agents I speak to can't even tell me why!! Just got off the phone now & got the BAU response that my case is still open & someone will call me, however the only calls I've received are from agents & managers telling me what I already know and that is ' your battery needs replacing' but I want to know WHEN will they replace it and WHY the long delays??? Very poor customer service. I've pretty much been locked into a 20 year contract for a service that Im not receiving at all. I wish we had never signed up with Solar City.
