We recently ordered two of the Vino Rail Post Kits (2 Sided, 40 Bottles, 1 Column) in matte black, and I will say that this is a beautiful and well-built product. HOWEVER, what the website fails to mention is that the posts are not pre-drilled, so if you want to mount the 40 vino mounting plates, you will have to drill 80 holes in the 1.5″ x 1.5″ steel post!It also turns out that the product is actually made by another company called Vintage View and sold by WRA. So when I reached out to Vintage View, they told me that they did indeed offer a pre-drilled post option, and they (of course) would be happy to sell me the slightly more expensive version, so I purchased two drilled posts for $875.Here’s where it gets tricky. The posts weigh almost 20 lbs. each, so shipping the non-drilled posts back to VV cost more than $140. After all that, I was told my refund would only be $344, because the solid steel footings had been “damaged” during the return We recently ordered two of the Vino Rail Post Kits (2 Sided, 40 Bottles, 1 Column) in matte black, and I will say that this is a beautiful and well-built product. I would just advise purchasing directly from Vintage View, and cut out the middleman.
