I wish I had read the prior reviews regarding the branch at the airport. I had an almost identical awful experience. The same employee spent most of her time pushing the company's insurance, and when I mentioned I had my own, she claimed it was invalid, which it wasn't. Then I saw the notices about extra fees, such as a €150 fine for putting luggage inside the car rather than the boot. As I was shown the vehicle, she pointed out tiny marks that would incur charges if I caused them. Most companies only charge for noticeable dents or worse. I mentioned I was going to a beach area, and she warned that if there was ANY sand in the car, I would face a cleaning fee. Typically, companies clean the car after each rental as part of their business costs. When I pointed out the dusty environment and the likelihood of dirt from Greece, she replied that I would be expected to have the car washed before returning it, which I had never encountered in 40 years of renting cars. Finally, they failed to provide me with the correct return address, making it difficult to find among dirt roads and inclines. Renting from this company and dealing with the staff's attitude caused me significant stress that affected my holiday, so if you want to do yourself a favor, go elsewhere.
