We rented a car through a platform and had a very similar experience to the previous review. When we arrived to pick up the vehicle, everything seemed fine until the employee asked if we wanted to add extra insurance. We had already secured that during booking, so we declined. In that moment, her demeanor changed drastically from polite to rude and aggressive, insisting that our insurance was invalid and we would be liable for any damages. When we returned the vehicle, they claimed to find new scratches in two locations on the bumpers. We are confident we didn’t cause these scratches, but we couldn't prove it with our photos as they were near the edges. The main issue is the dishonest behavior. They immediately searched those areas for scratches, clearly knowing they existed. This company seems more focused on selling insurance and charging for damages than on actually renting cars. I recommend staying away if you want peace of mind. If you choose to rent from them, be prepared to spend time checking and documenting every minor dent, as they may still charge you for something. You can take their insurance, but it feels like paying for protection against extortion; I prefer to avoid such a business model.
