Xlibris offers nice products but the process is quite sloppy. There is a lack of central communication making it extremely possible for the writer of a first book to follow what is really at stake. Too many so called managers who apparently do not know from each other. The process is also very slow. Promotion materials and website (all paid for by the author six months in advance) arrive more than a month after the book went online. How can you defend yourself on the market? This is not really helping the author as was promised.
