Someone posted an incorrect picture of the color of yarn I wanted to buy, so I was misled about the product. I verified this by comparing Web’s photo to the one on the yarn manufacturer’s website on the same monitor. It is absolutely wrong. The manufacturer photo matches the product I received perfectly. It’s 75% acrylic yarn, dye lots do not vary this wildly for artificial fibers. I even sent them a side by side screenshot. They didn’t acknowledge it and apparently refuse to refund my initial shipping cost and are also making me pay for return shipping. The stuff no longer ships from MA, it comes from someplace in MO so it’s not even regional to the NE anymore—more $$ and longer time to get misrepresented yarn that I now have to send back and wait on a refund for. Webs/yarn.com used to be great when it was family owned, but now it’s just soaking up my time and money without even providing a useable product. By the way, now if you want to return an order to their brick and mortar store to save shipping, they will only give you a store credit. You have to mail it to some warehouse on your dime. The new owner (Missouri Star Quilt Co.) doesn’t care about customers or yarn
