At first, everything worked perfectly — from the setup to the actual usage. We purchased the Europe Unlimited data plan for 30 days and traveled through Germany, Denmark, Sweden, and Finland. During the first 12 days, everything worked flawlessly.
However, on the way back along the same route, the maximum download speed suddenly dropped to 0.5 Mbit/s, even though 5G was still being displayed. To verify this, we tested another SIM card in the same network, which achieved the normal speeds we had experienced during the first 12 days.
This strongly suggests that our connection was intentionally throttled. Because of this, I can only give 1 star.
For context: after about 20 days of usage, our phone shows a total data consumption of around 80 GB.
