Review Time
To update earlier reviews regarding yopa, apparently they had an" internal" look at my case except wasn't independent was held by employee of "yopa" who decided I had been informed of terms and conditions even tho I have whatscapp proof of me repeatedly asking Annie Bailey for them right up until Ithe morning I withdrew my property from yopa its been decided by yopa to uphold decision its laffable if not so stressful a situation to be in, take me to court yopa truth and facts are on my side. Obviously a complete waste of my time this 'so say internal investigation '
We were initially a little hesitant about choosing Yopa over the traditional high street estate agent model.
Both Anosh and Mansour had been an amazing, enthusiastic sales agent for or house, they went over and beyond from advertising, explaining everything. Would highly recommend him to anyone who wants a smooth sale or purchase.
Between them they both undertook viewings in weekends as well as during the week. I would highly recommend Anosh and Mansour.
I didn't realise when I decided to put my one bed flat up for sale that there was a glut of one bed flats on the market. Being a good flat in a good location, I thought I would receive many viewing requests and enough decent offers. I opted for the flat fee because of this- that I would have to pay only £1148 though this would be regardless of whether Yopa sold my flat or not. With this option, Yopa have no incentive to find a buyer since it makes no difference to them. I then had a very poor experience with Yopa agents, who were inconsistent and would change frequently without warning. The person who introduced herself by email as the manager then seemed to disappear and her email address no longer worked. I was finally allocated to someone helpful towards the end and she would call me to check-in and update regularly. Without her it would have been a very poor experience overall. I wish I had gone with a high street agent who would put in the leg work to find a buyer due to their high fees though hopefully being able to secure a decent price and sale.
Scott from Sheffield was really good, very thorough and made sure I was happy I'd seen everything and had all the information I needed to make a decision that was right for me. Very impressed, extremely friendly
cannot thank David Cook anymore! He's so professional, from the first meet I knew I would be in safe hands. He's almost on WhatsApp 24/7, always prompt to my request. My process wasn't easy as Birmingham Council delayed my solicitor's request for 3 months. David's regular communication to both me and the buyer greatly helped the process and eventually I sold my flat. Will definitely recommend him to anyone in Kings Heath area.
We can’t recommend Allie enough she was fabulous from start to finish she dealt with all viewings so we didn’t have too and communication through the whole process was amazing. She went above and beyond to support us we will definitely be using Allie @ Yopa again.
I am very dissatisfied with the service! Every time I reached out to my local representative, he never returned my calls or answered, claiming he had lost his phone. My property has been listed for three months and has only received two viewings, despite being very close to the city center. My agent, who has claimed to be in the industry for 25 years, suggested I lower the price today, even though I was initially assured I would receive more than the asking price within 12 weeks. Interestingly, I conducted both viewings myself, even though I paid for a premium service, as the agent was unavailable. Before signing the contract, I was promised numerous things, but now I've learned my agent is on sick leave, and the new manager appears disinterested.
I want to update my previous reviews. I received an email today stating that they plan to withdraw £1495 from my bank account! I have already involved legal representation as they have been informed. They continue to unlawfully attempt to deplete a pensioner's bank account without providing me with the terms of a contract I never agreed to. I strongly advise against using or trusting this service, as they are trying to charge for services they did not deliver.
Where do I even begin? It took an astonishing 5 months for the agent and seller to determine who had the keys for the lender's property valuation. My broker had to constantly follow up on this issue. The responses from the representative were very slow, and when they took leave, there was no communication to inform me of their absence. The final straw came when I drove 6 hours to view the property, only to be informed upon arrival that the viewing was cancelled. What really upset me was the false claim that I had been notified via voicemail and email about the cancellation earlier that morning. I'm still waiting for those messages to show up. I ended up losing money on conveyancing fees, but at least I won't have to go through this again.
