I would strongly caution anyone thinking of using Yopa to be very clear on what you’re signing up for.
In my experience, what was expected and what actually happened were completely different. The process dragged on for months, including a buyer being progressed without proof of funds, which ultimately fell through and left me having lost a significant amount of time.
I was then forced to start again with another agent, who sold the property quickly and at a higher price. The difference in service was stark and left me questioning why things had not been handled properly in the first place.
What has been most frustrating is the lack of clarity and progress throughout, followed by being pursued for a substantial fee under the “pay later” model, despite no sale being achieved through Yopa.
If your priority is to sell your property efficiently and with proper progression, I would personally not choose to use Yopa again based on my experience.
Overall, the process was time-consuming, stressful, and has ultimately left me out of pocket and they didn’t sell
my house.
