I ordered a Christmas decoration. I received an email to say my order was dispatched. This had ‘track parcel’ on it. This didn’t work, it took me to Rydale.com (who the heck are they?) and said it wasn’t recognised. I therefore had no tracking for my parcel. I contacted YTC and got an AI response with an Evri tracking number. I’d had nothing from Evri. Twice Evri said they were delivering, but didn’t come. I tried phoning YTC but they’d turned their phones off as they’re too busy to cope with phone calls as well (recorded message). It’s email contact only. My parcel finally arrived one week later. It was wrapped in a flimsy plastic back. It was a Christmas tree, so I wanted the box to store it away each year. The box was split fully open at the bottom and ripped on the side. Who sends something like this without bubble wrap or inside a protective box? YTC obviously do. They were a lot cheaper than anyone else for the tree, but in future I’ll pay more and use someone better. By the way, we visited their Penrith store recently and it was an absolute disgrace. In my whole life I have never been in a shop like it. As we walked in there were clothes all over the floor, that had fallen off the rails or whatever, all trampled over, covered in dirt from the floor and footprints. Numerous shelves were completely empty with stock and boxes lying all over the floor everywhere. It was a trip and fire hazard. You literally had to step over everything, as you went. We left and won’t be shopping there again.
