I received 2 weeks of meals from Youfoodz and decided to cancel my subscription. I signed up to try these meals as part of their promotion and genuinely wanted to try it.
Initially, I ordered 8 meals and then reduced to 5 meals for the second week before cancelling.
The portions are small for the price.
I didn't like the Bacon Potato Salad at all - it was bitter! The lasagne was too salty, as was the pork roast meal. I didn't like the consistency of the mashed potato, so that cancelled out any of those dinners, and, when I reheated the meal with sweet potato and roast pork - it was a watery, soupy mess.
When choosing meals for the remaining 3 weeks - I really struggled with the selection.
Luckily, the customer service people let me cancel after the 2nd week - and the average price for these small salty portions was- even with a discount, too expensive.
The meal sizes are good, enough for an adult. I have had five different meals so far and they have all been yummy. I have just ordered a few meals next delivery that are salads to take for work, so excited to try those.
Was satisfied at first but was too good to be true......
Stucked all day waiting for my delivery after changing their delivery time 4 times in one day and at the end I never received my delivery. Never again.....
Beyond useless. Took my money twice in one fortnight and told me both time. My boxes were damaged. I'm on DSP, so have gone without being able to purchase at the shops because they had my shopping budget. So I have eaten the last of my cabinet's and fridge. While these guys screw up another order of mine. Completely useless. Wouldn't recommend at all.
I haven't eaten for two weeks properly because of false promises. That my empty stomach today made me puke the water I drank to try to fill my stomach. No faith in this company whatsoever. And they don't care. Just give the company line. Full of crap.
What a fantastic service!
The choice of meals is astounding and the meals themselves are delicious.
I was prepared to be disappointed having bought pre prepared meals from the supermarkets and found them bland and small portions.
Not so with Youfoodz! I am delighted to say they are really good flavour and plentiful in portion.
My partner and I purchased the initial box, but then the service attempted to charge us again, which failed. They tried a second time, and that also failed. Customer support was unhelpful, merely stating that the attempts failed, even though the money had already been deducted from my account. They insisted I resolve it with my bank. I would not recommend this service; it feels like a significant scam.
I was referred through a diabetes support organization, which made me more inclined to like the service. I genuinely enjoy most of the meals I choose, although there are occasional missteps that are more about my preferences than the service's control. I'm contemplating adding it to my package but I'm still undecided.
I ordered 12 meals on 19 November, but nearly half of them have spoiled and are not edible. It seems the food might have been compromised before reaching me. This experience has left me very disappointed, raising serious concerns about the quality and safety of the food. I would like an explanation and a proper resolution.
