Dreadful first experience. I made a monthly booking through the app and paid up front (over £70) and when I arrived on the first day, there was another car parked in the space. As a result I was late for work in my new office. When I contacted the space owner they knew nothing about it! They said their space wasn’t for rent and wanted to know how I’d got their phone number. The space owner didn’t know their space was listed and their name and number was listed publicly in the app. So he told me to get a refund from Your Parking Space. But how well does the app verify the true owners of the spaces? UPDATE: Your Parking Space responded very swiftly to my complaint. The booking was cancelled, I received a full refund, an apology, a 20% discount for my next monthly booking and alternative parking options curated for me. I was very happy with the way this was resolved. Unfortunately my confidence in the service has been shaken. In future I’d contact the space owner BEFORE the contract starts to check it is still valid.
