Been using youtube with my same account for almost a decade. All of a sudden, this week youtube decided it was going to soft ban my account. It kept displaying "Content not available." on all my videos. It started a little then it became heavy. I've done nothing to warrant a ban but watch videos. I don't even leave comments either. I'm thankful I'm an account hopper so I'm not ban limited by this bs. I’ve run into soft ban issues of youtube’s ai banning me or trying to ban me for some reason. I’m thankful I don’t pay youtube one cent for this service.
I also don’t understand why it’s brick-walling many more useless features behind their paywalls. From 4x speed which would be virtually impossible for most people. To offering a totally useless ai feature that gives songs lyrics but only gives the first few words – oh, wait I could get around this bs with a google search. To making their videos virtually unwatchable without a youtube ad blocker then cracking down on people when it detects that in your browser. The 10 second ads were watchable. Some ads are set so high that the videos are virtually unwatchable. I’m tired of most of the content on youtube being presented by left or right ring liberalists with zero say in what is posted. Now and then I’ll start to see soft porn thumbnails crop up and I just report those. I’m fed up with a lot of the ai slop content that is being presented on youtube these days and people have no shame when they shadow clone sites to cash in on the high views for profit.
I’ll for ever use back door options to get around their bs of age restrictions (first amendment violation) coupled with countries cracking down on their ads. I’ll never pay youtube one cent to bow down to their ads and other bs they’re trying to push.
