I ordered a perfume from the YSL online store as a present for my mum and paid the 'next day delivery' charge of 6.95 pounds. The product didn't arrive on time, so I contacted YSL customer service to let them know. They asked me if I've changed the delivery address for my order, and after I confirmed that I haven't, then confirmed orally and then in writing that they will be issuing a refund of the 'next day delivery' charge when the product arrives. The product arrived 4 days after the scheduled date, so I duly contacted YSL as they had told me, to ask for my refund. I only got a curt reply saying that I will not be getting a refund because I had changed the delivery address for the order. This, after our conversation and their oral and written confirmation that a refund will be given. After some back and forth, YSL confirmed that a mistake has happened and that they will be refunding the next day delivery charge.
