I initially took out a Private Hire policy with Zego hoping to earn an honest living, but I am completely disappointed. The premiums they charge are absolutely colossal and unreasonable. By the end of the month, after paying for this insurance, I am literally left with no money. Working in Private Hire under these financial conditions is a failed business model. It feels less like an insurance service and more like a financial trap for hardworking people. I have cancelled my policy and I strongly advise other drivers to avoid them unless you want to work just to pay your insurance bill. Look elsewhere!
