I have had a horrendous experience with Zendrop over the past 14 months. Here’s why:
1) They disconnect listings/items that you will painstakingly go through the process of sourcing through them without notifying you.
2) Do not fulfill orders completely with no notification!
3) They have AI chat bots giving incorrect information and even sending emails for them that are not relevant to your inquiry and problem.
4) They have reduced “human” service to 9-5est, not 24/7 as they advertise.
5) I had orders placed in my store after 1 year building it and they could fulfill only 2 products of the order!
6) All my private listings (sourced items) were deleted with no notice - so unprofessional. Zero updates on suppliers no longer offering products in your store. You’ll find out through customer orders only that there is no stock. Nightmare!
7) I did the entire Zendrop academy course list and 15+ coaching calls - they are teaching SINGLE product dropshipping via Shrine template (and POD) - Not stores with a variety of dropshipping products.
8) They removed the bundle feature without notification a year ago, the purpose of me choosing them over competitors.
9) I basically wasted a year of my life setting up a Shopify store, going through their content, sourcing through them, creating product ads, educating myself on their learning platform, just to be given incorrect info from AI robots who were kind of gaslighting me with incorrect instructions when I had serious issues. I have email threads with 10 messages with AI bots without resolution.
10) They removed my “promotional” credits with no notice.
You may be asking yourself - Why do they have so many positive reviews?
11) Because EVERY single customer service interaction they send a link to this Trustpilot page asking for a positive review - that’s why - most likely from excited beginners who haven’t b experienced their actual service yet.
12) The packing on my sample order was a plastic sheet wrapped with clear tape, looked like a trash ball, not appropriate business.
13) The “custom printed branding card” was the worst print job I’ve ever seen - mine was black and white text and still pixelated and blurry (I used their text field, not an uploaded image). It wasn’t even cut properly, the dotted cut lines were visible.
If you are a beginner, save your time unless you are doing a viral, one product only dropshipping model. Consider yourself warned.
If you do choose to move forward, lower your expectations and have a backup plan if the store doesn’t work due to Zendrop’s lack of organized, internal order fulfillment logistics.
I find Zendrop to have false marketing promises, customer service from AI robots that is beyond frustrating. For me, investing a year of my free time building a lifestyle store through Zendrop was super devastating for all the reasons above.
This is the first negative review I have written in my life. I prefer to forget and move on from disappointing service experiences. This was written to protect good hearted, visionary entrepreneurs like me who may believe Zendrop’s marketing promises and find themselves empty handed, devastated.
