I rated it 5 stars because I believe the concept and product are outstanding. I've provided a detailed review for others, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it. The installation was quite challenging for me. Removing my previous cat flap was difficult as it consisted of multiple sections, and some screws were hard to get out, which made me worry about causing damage. However, I think a second attempt would only take about 5 minutes, so I don't feel it was misrepresented. Positioning the device is straightforward, but the USB C cable interfered with the cat flap fitting flat against the wall. I had to create a small hole in the wall for this, which wasn't hard but took some time to figure out. I didn't check for a YouTube installation video, but it would be helpful. Integration with the system is seamless, although we tried to sync the times from the app with the device, and they didn't perfectly match. I'm pretty sure everything is fine (no mouse remains), but it would be nice to get confirmation that the flap didn't open, instead of just seeing "Prey Detected". It would be reassuring to know that both devices are communicating properly, as I was unsure about the model type. It's also not clear what occurs when the AI reports Inconclusive - does the flap open or not? The AI isn't perfect yet; during my one night of use, there were 2 images of just cat fur that were flagged as Inconclusive, alongside 4 conclusive ones. It's good, but not yet "very reliable".
