we have 2 cats and the device worked 100%. several mice/rats have been cought and the cats tried to enter without success.
Bonus are the fun photos of them^^ fully recommend
Have the version 1, it seems that processing time on the servers went up.
Had to adopt and adjust our setup at home several times after 8 months of perfect performance.
Now it is back to okay, but no more „zero mouse“-experience from the beginning.
But less mice-deliveries than before having that „zero mouse“-device.
Unfortunately, I’ve had a very disappointing experience with this device. The door takes a noticeable amount of time to unlock and allow entry, which became a serious issue when my cat was trying to get inside while being chased. The delay contributed to my cat getting injured, which has been extremely upsetting.
In addition, the prey detection feature does not work reliably. It often fails to detect when it should, which undermines one of the main reasons I purchased this product.
I had high hopes based on the description and price point, but unfortunately it hasn’t performed as expected.
Great product! I can call myself a proud owner of ZeroMouse#125, so I was one of the early ones. What a pain relief to have this installed. No queeking mouse at 3 am in your bedroom anymore but a happy cat that can enter after her meal. The team performs continuous improvement on the UX and detection capabilities, I just love IT!
Follow up on your recent response, i have put the zeromouse 2.0 in rice for 24hrs and as i expected its still not working due to getting wet in the rain which any thing that is out in the rain is bound to get wet. I now would like to know your next step in helping me out as i paid 200 euros for this device and it has only lasted 2 months.
I purchased zeromouse november 2025 and our lives changed for the better and peace of mind, BUT 4 days ago it stopped working kept saying unable to connect to wifi, we tried all the troupleshooting with the help of the 'BOT' and then it stopped working altogether only to find out it was full of water, joke i might add for a device thats going to be outside, bound to get wet. I have tried and tried to get help and i am being ignored day after day so NO at the moment i would NOT recommend this device and certainly not customer service.
We previously struggled with a significant mouse issue due to our two cats bringing them inside to play. This constant search for mice has been quite disruptive to our daily lives. Thanks to the service, we no longer have any rodent issues. We can finally enjoy peace in our home. Thank you for your help!
I rated it 5 stars because I find the concept and product to be excellent. I've written a detailed review to assist others, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it. The installation was quite challenging for me. Removing my old cat flap was not straightforward, as it consists of multiple sections, and some screws were difficult to remove without the risk of damage. However, I believe that if I were to do it again, it would only take about 5 minutes, so I don't think it was misrepresented. Positioning the device was simple, but the USB C cable interfered with the cat flap's placement against the wall. I had to make a small hole in the wall to accommodate this. It wasn't difficult, but it took some time to figure out—I even considered drilling a hole in the cat flap at one point. I didn't check for a YouTube installation video, but that would be a helpful resource. Integration with the other system was smooth, though we tried to synchronize the times reported by the app with the device, and they didn't perfectly match. I'm fairly confident everything is functioning properly (no issues), but it would be reassuring to have confirmation that the flap remained closed instead of just receiving a "Prey Detected" alert. It would also be beneficial to know that both systems are communicating effectively, as I was uncertain about the model type.
It's unclear what occurs when the AI indicates an Inconclusive result—does the flap open or not?
The AI isn't flawless yet; in my one-night experience, there were two images of just cat fur that were deemed Inconclusive, alongside four that were clear. It's promising but not "very reliable" at this stage.

The product is not compatible with our cat flap, despite being advertised as such. We are facing significant challenges in returning the item and getting a refund. Despite numerous emails, we have yet to receive any response from the seller. Since writing this, I sent another email and still have not received a reply! They previously claimed they would "reach out to me" but have failed to respond to my messages or contact me in any other manner. I've checked my Spam and Junk folders.
