In my experience, this feels like a very shady business practice. I signed up thinking it was a normal subscription, and at no point was it clearly explained that I was committing to a 6-month minimum term.
When I tried to cancel, I was suddenly told I’m locked in, which was never made clear upfront. Important terms like this should be transparent, not hidden away.
This kind of lack of clarity seriously damages trust. I would advise others to be very careful before signing up.
