I wish I'd read the reviews before registering with Zipcar. Had a positive previous experience, so thought it would be easy to reactivate my account. Needed a car same day to help my daughter and my card wouldn't work. I registered using my daughter's card only to be told next day that this was not possible. Why was that not made clear at registration? Unable to hire a car when needed so tried to cancel. This is not possible and no refund is given. Reputable companies do not charge £15 for sending an email and will give you a 14 day period to change your mind
