I bought the Standard Policy. Our flight from one city to another broke down before takeoff, requiring us to stay overnight and catch a different flight the next day. This disrupted our travel plans, leading to missed flights, lost rental car days, and accommodation issues. To make matters worse, our subsequent flight was canceled, forcing us to book another flight to a different city and incur additional accommodation and travel costs. The insurers informed us that we weren't covered for mechanical breakdowns, which is baffling since that’s a primary reason for obtaining insurance. Why isn’t this covered in every policy?
