In January 2025, a tree on council property fell onto our fence, causing significant damage to both our fence and our neighbor's partition. A month earlier, the council had installed a path right next to these trees, which we believe compromised their root stability. We waited over eight months for a response from the company, only to be told they were not liable, accompanied by a series of unconvincing excuses. They claimed the tree was checked annually but provided no proof, and argued that the path could not have harmed the roots without any evidence. I am now considering legal action, as they failed to substantiate their refusal when requested. Based on other reviews, this company appears ineffective, and I would not recommend them to anyone. I am over £2,000 out of pocket due to their unfounded refusal. Additionally, after we submitted our claim, the council removed all trees along the nearby fencing, indicating they recognized the potential risk, which contradicts their claim of no negligence.
