I’ve had a great experience with Abby Health so far. The convenience of being able to book a telehealth appointment and jump on a call from home is a huge win, especially on busy days when getting to a clinic just isn’t practical.
The app is really easy to use. It’s clean, straightforward, and you don’t have to fumble around trying to figure things out. The video call quality has been consistently clear and reliable, which makes the whole experience feel smooth and stress free.
I also really appreciate having access to bulk billing. It makes it much easier to get the care you need without worrying about the cost.
Overall, it’s just made everyday healthcare a lot more convenient and accessible. Would definitely recommend.
I needed a Dr on a Sunday, he kinda helped, but I needed proper painkillers for my toothache, so I had to see another Dr the following day. It annoys me how now I am not allowed a packet of 20 codeine tablets for a toothache that kept me awake 3 nights because it will make me a drug addict apparently? Now I am getting hassled for feedback and to write a review, so here it is and please stop contacting me now on a daily basis like you have been since I made the appointment, it's incredibly annoying!
It began as a valuable resource, and some aspects felt therapeutic for me. However, encountering a paywall early, just as I was starting to find some answers, feels exploitative towards those struggling with mental health. This business model is quite unprofessional; even if I were to find therapy through a subscription, I wouldn't consider it worth it on principle. I cannot trust any service that misrepresents itself in this manner regarding my mental well-being. It is not entirely free and shouldn't be marketed as such.
I am truly thankful for the dedicated team, the process they follow, and the medical professionals involved. They communicate effectively, ask important questions, and are not just a fleeting service. This is a legitimate medical team that I believe has saved my life. The doctors and nurse were so thorough that I realized I was combining two medications that could have been extremely harmful. My health is improving now, and they continue to show interest in my progress. I am genuinely impressed by the quality of care, and I believe this particular service is making a positive impact in communities like mine, where maintaining health can be challenging and costly.
