Next morning visit after late afternoon call. The Able plumbing engineer had a quick understanding of the problem in the loft and the job was completed with absolutely no inconvenience. Second time I have used this company, the first being to upgrade a radiator and the third will be for the annual boiler service
Looked for a local co. So pleased I used Able Plumbing. Dave was great ..resolved my problem of crusty pipes! Causing blockage. Very efficient very helpful very tidy and cleaned up after. Will recommend to all my friends without a doubt!
Able installed our boiler and have done all our subsequent annual services. They have done various other jobs as well, most recently we had a problem with our boiler flue. From start to finish they were professional, polite and understanding. The flue was boxed in and they took care in their work and repairing the boxing in was excellent. I would definitely recommend Able to anyone needing their services.
Used Able a number of times, and they are consistently good in what they do. Always explain clearly what they will do, are not messy & tidy up after. Their staff are engaging & polite. Not cheapest but really good value in view of high quality. No qualms in recommending.
We’ve always relied on Able Plumbing, and our annual boiler check in December 2024 was no exception. During the review, they quickly identified a component that needed replacing to restore our hot water to full efficiency — at the time, it was fluctuating between hot and cold, making it impossible to even fill a bath.Realising we had boiler insurance, we decided to use the service provided through our policy with another company. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a mistake. The engineer sent was NOT Able (pun intended!) and ended up flooding the entire boiler unit, damaging the PCB. We were left without proper hot water and had to book hotel rooms to shower for two weeks.Once the insurer finally rectified the damage they’d caused, the original issue with the boiler returned. That’s when we turned back to our trusted team at Able Plumbing.Terry was brilliant. He spent the day thoroughly flushing the entire system, took the time to explain every issue clearly, and was an absolute pleasure to have in our home.A big thank you also goes to Louise and Andy, whose support went above and beyond. Their kindness and commitment made a stressful situation so much more manageable — we truly felt in safe hands.Huge thanks to the entire Able Plumbing team, and especially Terry, for your professionalism, dedication, and excellent work. I had the pleasure of inviting Jon, from Able Plumbing, into my home and couldn't be more impressed with the services. Jon came out to fix a valve in my toilet which was prventing us from being able to flush it and an annoying buzzing sound in my boiler that it shouldn't be making. He handled both issues with incredible efficiency. It was time to replace our gas boiler and, after getting competitive quotes, we decided to place the job with Able due to previous good experience with the company. Our engineer, Terry, was excellent; he was punctual, professional, polite, friendly, hard working, tidy and trustworthy. He made sure the boiler was functional on day#1 and balanced the system the following morning. Able were recommended to us by a friend after her great experience with them, we've done the same.
