Purchased an xc60 cat S off this company, the whole process was easy and they were really helpful without being pushy. It is a really nice car and I'm really happy with it, I had a small issue that they have sorted straight away (collected the car fixed it then delivered it back) making sure I had a car while it was away. Really good seller A1
Had a really weird experience looking at a car here. We went to see a car that we realised had a lot of problems with it, the guy was not keen about letting us do a test drive and the reason for that was clear once he started driving. When asking questions about the car he didn't know a single answer to any of the questions (or pretended not to). We asked about an oil leak that came up on a recent MOT, he responded with "I don't know I haven't looked at the car why would I look at the car"... maybe because you are selling it? Once we got back to the garage we asked to come back at the weekend to have another look with one of our friends, the guy completely went off it and was extremely rude. I thought this was a really weird experience and by looking at the other reviews a lot of people have had bad experiences here. I would advise everyone to stay well away from this very bizarre company, I felt extremely uncomfortable from the second I arrived there. You would think if you are trying to sell cars you would at least learn some basic manners.
Confirmed a particular car, rang the day before to confirm we would travel 250 kilometres to see the car, but would be happy to pay deposit to hold car, drove with whole family to see car , on arrival we were met with a contempt I have never in my life seen, absolute knackers is being polite, I would not give these cowboys the time of day. Having driven from Dungarvan to give these absolute wasters over 15K euros for a car, they thought it was acceptable to say, oh, we took a deposit on that car, after taking at least three calls, and telling them we were extremely interested in the car, and ringing them before undertaking a 2.5hour drive to see the car, they just brushed us off like we had been $h1t on their shoes, these guys are the definition of who not to deal with, absolute scum. I wouldn't mind but the a-hole who did all this, rang me, (I have call recorded), pleading and apologising for what happened, promising the sun, earth, and moon to make things right, I even told him I appreciated him calling me and apologising for the absolute $hite service we as a family received after driving 2.5 hours on a Saturday morning to give 15+ k euro to buy a car... I told him I would deal with him, I even told him what car I would buy, and I never heard from him again.... These guys are scam artists, keep your money safe, buy anywhere except at ace robbing car sales...con men of the highest order, and I'm speaking from experience.... They couldn't possibly deny it, and I am still thinking of taking legal action against they scam artists.... If you want to get a good deal, anywhere but ace scan robbers is the place to go 👍🏼Just to confirm, my Dealings were with Ace motors in Dublin Ireland, I don't know if they are connected to the Ace Garage UK the most of these reviews are about.... They certainly have a lot in common.
I drove from South Wales to get my Antara from Ace motors. I honestly can’t recommend them enough! Tracey will go out of her way to make sure the after sales is superb. Gave me a very fair price as a part ex. And then couldn’t be happier.
DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP …whilst looking at a few cars round Durham on a trip from Whitby we decided to check out a £3000 suzuki Alto 2010 59000 miles at this dealership for my 17yr old daughters 1st car . My daughter loved it , I went with my heart rather than my head and let her buy it , the dealership said it would be put thru its MOT /18 months warranty and ready to pick up in 2 days . Over 2 weeks later part ordered from suzuki (apparently) and they would deliver it to our door on the back of a loader , which I thought was a nice touch. Soon found out why it was transported down to my door after a couple of days , underneath the car sounded like a bag of spanners . Wife took the car to a local garage and they could not believe how this car passed an MOT , 2 major faults & nevermind the rest , a danger to drive in there words . Wife contacted dealership as I'm away and wow what a man , my wife came off the phone physically shaking, after being very rude all he could say was bring the car up we'll take a look , knowing fine we'll it wasn't road worthy . DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP we are reporting them and the MOT garage to trading standards with photos and a garage report
I bought a car from this dealer in 26th September 2022. I was told by ACE Motor Vehicles Ltd the car will be serviced and will have one year MOT. Within few days of purchasing this car, I noticed so many faults with this car which includes : the service lights for the car was on and requesting the car should be serviced, Service ESP Light came on, ABS light was on, the rear tyre was loosing air, there was warning light that the oil is low etc. This same car started having coolant problem shortly after purchasing the car and kept displaying on the dashboard. I requested for the details of the ombudsman or information of the regulatory body from this dealer so I can send my complaint to them. This dealer until date has not sent me this information. Please be aware that the first time I got in touch with them to make my complaints, they did not respond to my email. It is shocking how a car that this dealer mentioned was serviced will be requesting I top oil within days of purchasing the car. I also requested information of the mechanic who did the servicing and the MOT. Please be very careful before purchasing a car from this dealer.
