Ace Motor Vehicles came highly recommended both from a personal friend and the AA and I had been watching the site for a good few months and reading reviews , Having decided to ignore the VERY small amount of negative reviews and take more notice of the many positive reviews I drove down to take a look for myself my current vehicle having seen better days , I had my eye on a Citroen C3 Picasso HDi Exclusive that I had seen on the website , The car was certainly as described on the advertisement and there was only the slightest issue with a rear number plate tail light which was immediately attended to and fixed , I found Gary to be most affable and a very likeable guy , he was very polite and helpful and he gave me no reason to doubt his service whatsoever , as for his wife Tracey she was also a delightful person who kindly took care of all the paperwork on the old and new vehicle , I found buying a car of Gary and Tracey a good experience and will have no hesitation at all returning to purchase another vehicle from them , I would also have no issue recommending them to friends , I have only had the car 3 days and so far could not be more satisfied with the vehicle but unlike many people I do not expect a Rolls Royce for Reliant Robin money ..............
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY Left a deposit on a car which i have since decided not to buy according to the owner this was refundable if i decided not to buy.I spoke to the owner yesterday and he has refused to give me my deposit back.I would give them no stars but that option is not available
WHAT A SCAM i recently was viewing a car from this garage and was going to view it when i came back off my holiday which i told gary over the phone he said that it was fine and would require a REFUNDABLE deposit of £300 silly me sent it over . He pestered me over 2 weeks and wanted me to send over the money for the car without viewing it. I said no and he started giving attitude and become really pushy about me buying it. I phoned him when i came back saying i was no longer interested in buying it as i had some other issue come up and could no longer afford it. He told me that i could kiss my money goodbye and that i was not getting my money back but it was REFUNDABLE according to him and i did not sign any contract . absolute SCAMMERS !!!! stay away from this garage !!!!
Please DO NO BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!!! I bought a car July 2024 and it was not road worthy! Not very nice people and very intimidating. I asked for a refund as the car was not to satisfactory standards and they ignored me for weeks. Still never got the car sorted and lied that there was nothing wrong with the car after being back in the garage 3 times in the space of 3 weeks. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour from a “professional company” “PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY BUYING A CAR FROM THESE”
Highly recommended will not go no where else there sort out every thing got a lovely car I be back as my son wants to buy a car from max lovely chap and gives out good advice as well with a cuppa tea good service lovely staff and will not go anywhere else. Thanks max a credit to you
Rude seller, patronising and obnoxious. Pressurised me to pay a deposit, even though I was unsure. Is doing the scam that makes you pay a deposit, which is a contract, and then makes you pay by bank transfer so you have no rights. Lied about delivery time, came 4 days later, and when I complained, treated me very poorly. Car arrived, it was FILTHY! There was no service done, and definitely no valeting. Took me weeks to get my AA membership and ‘warranty’ which isn’t worth anything, and doesn’t cover any problems except full failure of the vehicle. Took the car to a mechanic and the brakes were dangerous, so had to pay £500 to get them fixed, which obviously wasn’t covered in their terrible ‘warranty’. As others have mentioned, google the owner, you’ll see what kind of person he is!
