General insurance product designed to avoid claim settlement

My LG washing machine drum was damaged, requested Acko for repair, these guys sent a boy (not sure if he was even 18 years of age) to inspect. He captured some pictures, then the claims team told that the issue is due to wear and tear, their usual reason for reject most claims, couldn't provide proof for their reason. Realized that they offer such general insurance products which are designed in such a manner to deny claims later on, pretty much cheating by design in my opinion. I have a Car Insurance with them and after such experience, decided will not renew my car insurance. Wouldn't recommended anyone to take their general insurance products. They won't even share their claim settlement ratio. Overall a big disappointment.

Don't Buy Acko Insurance

Don't trust all paid positive reviews and tv adds those are making people to choose this insurance, so please stay away from this cheating company, deffinatly you will regret after buying this

Not worth it.

In the beginning they gave a good discount, but now they ploy to get customers. There's a glitch in there website, it shows lower premium in quote and increases automatically during payment.Second thing is Amazon tie up scam. We will not get discount from amazon instead policy type will be changed, which we can notice only after purchasing policy. If we purchase zero-dep from acko website we will have to pay 1-2k as claim charges where in if we purchase the same policy from Amazon availing discount we will have to pay 5-6k as claim charges.

ACKO SEEMS TO LIKE A FRAUD COMPANYThese people are not mentioning the insurance details on GOI portal.How i come to know- i bought a vehicle to transfer the vehicle on my name i visit RTO after 15 days of insurance taken, where i got to know insurance is not updated on GOI portal.after more than 5 follow-up these people have have updated my compressive insurance on portal as a third party insurance.
