I have just had the best experience with Home Hub Essex. Everything was explained in detail and Raif’s knowledge and expertise guided me through a process I knew nothing about. I am really grateful to him for ‘hand-holding’ me all the way through. The installation team were also excellent and did a great job. Cannot praise Home Hub enough and my Soho doors and windows are even better than I could ever have hoped. Thank you, Terry

Great end to end experience

From the initial contact with Daniel to the final installation of 5 units, the process has been extremely professional. I bought 3 external doors & 2 internal doors. It is worth visiting the Bracknell showroom to better understand the options available & to compare with similar but lesser quality alternatives. Surveyor Martin visited us twice & on each occasion & was considerate & friendly to deal with. The ultimate test of his measurements being the snug fit of the units. We had two different teams of fitters & were particularly impressed by Stuart & Ben who installed the 2 internal units but also finished trimming to all units to a high standard. Throughout the entire process, Daniel of the sales team was always on hand & easily contactable supported by a WhatsApp group & online documents. Have no hesitation to contact Home Hub for our future needs.

Products ok, fitting not good.

Products are ok but some of the furniture isn't great, had three door handles break. However, DO NOT use them for fitting. Firstly, they will try to get you to cover the final install cost before fitting has actually happened. Secondly, the team that came to do the job were clearly working as fast as possible and so there was some damage to a frame, wrong handles fitted, and both windows and doors not properly adjusted. They then refused to leave until we transferred the final payment. After that, we found issues (which we had no real opportunity to check for) so they sent in a correcting team. I kid you not when I say that this was a bloke with a plastic hammer. If he couldn't just hit it into place he was stumped. He couldn't even sort out a handle that had been put on wrong. So now the dust has settled. We have gaps, small damage, handles that break every few months, and patio doors that you have to go outside to close. It's been a while since we used them, they've had time to sort stuff and tbh we'd given up a while ago (2024) since the initial install. Had another issue surface today which reminded me that I hadn't written this review which is based on the experience from fitting through to now.

Excellent communication throughout the…

Excellent communication throughout the whole process, provided detailed timelines and kept us up to date with everything. Nice selection to choose from. Will be using again for the rest of the windows. Highly recommend. Fitters were very well manored and kept everything clean and tidy.

What a hassle

I ordered two doors, same pattern, same colour, same accessories same smart locks both sleek finish two sizes and one with glass side panel. What could be simpler?Two weeks before installation I was told that the narrow door could not be done in sleek in the chosen pattern, please choose another pattern! Forwards and backwards and yes could be done if not completely symmetrical. Great I thought but this was only the beginning:The glass side panel was forgotten on the order so installation date to be deferred, the smaller door could not get installed on first attempt and it was delivered with woodgrain finish on the 2nd attempt so third time lucky I got the door I had actually ordered. The smart lock had been forgotten about so had to be fitted at the very end.Daily email reminders to pay the installation fee started before the last door was even delivered and no disabled access to the showroom does not do anything positive to the experience either.

If I could leave zero stars I would!.

If I could leave zero stars I would. We had our windows fully fitted with this company 3 years ago. In that 3 years we have had to call them out to fix various problems (mainly handles) FIVE times. Today will be the sixth time they are coming to us with the same problem. The product is absolutely rubbish and I would honestly avoid day all costs. The only positive is that the fitter are great (it’s them I feel sorry for, for having to fit such cheap crap)

Great to get excellent service

Home hub fitted our bifold doors 7 years ago and recently the handle on our access door jammed . Home hub responded within hours to my request for someone to come and mend them . They then set up a what’s app group to keep me up to date with timings . We did have to wait a few weeks for their engineer to be able to come but when I contacted them to say I had a party coming up and really needed the door to open, Marie from customer services phoned me and moved the date forward because they had a cancellation . Tommy arrived today and it was a pleasure to have him in the house and He even took off his shoes and cleared up after himself . The handle has been replaced and all is in working order . Thank you Home Hub team .
