Which gave me a refund of £84.89 this is a total rip off please make sure you check the terms and conditions before using these insurers.
Price was reasonable and contacting them was straight forward. Although i did receive a quote for £250 then when i tried to go through with it there was a clerical error their end, meaning the price suddenly went up to £290. Even though it was a quotation i received they wouldn’t honour it. This was poor.
Another annoyance was the man on the phone went through all the details of my modified classic beetle, then once the policy details came through i had to input all the details of the modifications through myself again so the hour phone call was a waste of both party’s time.
Having spoken to several customer advisors while sorting out 5 new landlord house insurances ALL of them were polite patient and transferred me to the person who sorts the glitches during the process.
I feel completely taken advantage of! I took out a policy and paid monthly. I requested to change my payment date to align with my payday, but my request was ignored. When the payment date arrived, the Direct Debit failed, and I was hit with an additional £25 charge on top of my monthly fee of £84. After that, I asked again for the payment date to be changed, but once more it was ignored. The Direct Debit failed for the next two months as well, leading to more late fees on top of the monthly charge. I sold my vehicle and called to cancel the policy on January 23rd. Considering I was paying monthly, I was shocked to find out I had to pay an extra £121 just to cancel. This behavior is unacceptable, and I will never use this service again.
I contacted the renewal team since it was the only number I had available, but I was actually in a tough spot, as my phone was about to die and I needed the breakdown service. The representative who answered quickly provided the information I required. She was helpful, friendly, and professional, making it a wonderful experience. I wish my energy provider had staff like this! It's always a pleasure to interact with the service.

I paid £288 upfront to insure a kit car for a year. After selling the car just four months in, I canceled the policy and received a meager £38 refund. This feels like a complete rip-off. I won’t be using this service again. Be cautious and read the fine print!
I have been using this service for my van insurance for several years and have always found them quite fair. However, after a recent loss, I attempted to insure another vehicle with them. I provided all the necessary details and secured the insurance. Initially, the representative mentioned an additional charge of around £30.00 if I couldn't provide no-claims bonus (NCB). After several calls, I discovered that the actual extra fee was £200.00. I then sought a quote from another provider, which was significantly lower and accepted the mirror imaging for NCB that the service would not. I decided to cancel my policy after 15 days, only to learn that they could refund me approximately two-thirds of the total amount, despite giving me misleading information at the outset. I am quite dissatisfied.
