The card was a great help with my finances. One issue that frustrated me was not being able to shop with a virtual card in store. Me, being a senior I'd preferred a tangible card. I called to state this and was told by a representative that sending a physical card would take time. Family and friends assisted me with using the virtual card. Now I am very happy with Akimbo! Thank you!
I have Google Pay. As instructed, I loaded the virtual MASTERCARD onto my smartphone. None of the merchants I visited accepted payment using Google Pay. Akimbo should have sent a physical MASTERCARD gift card instead of virtual card. I had to use it to purchase something online. I do not normally shop online.
I had to call customer service twice, but both representatives were very friendly and knowledgeable in assisting me with my questions. I was able to successfully complete my transaction! Thank you, Akimbo team!
