Allens factory is a 5 star for me from the start. The website was awesome. Allowed you to see the fi ished structure/ building as well as an instant pricing with deposit requirements. After placing the order the customer service was fabulous. They answered all questions and provide the necssary paperwork/ information needed immediately. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking to build something.
Alan's Factory Outlet has been very professional and straight forward with us from the time we placed our order in July 2025. We knew from the beginning that it would be 60-90 days out for delivery and setup. we were scheduled for install on October 16 at 12pm. My husband took off work and we were excited to finally have a cover for our RV. 12pm came and went we heard nothing from the installers (Carolina Carports). At 1:00pm my husbands called the scheduler and she said that the workers were in Blanchard, a little over 9 miles from us. and that they probably were just running behind but were still scheduled to be at our place. Then we received a call from one of the installers and he said that they were going to have to reschedule. that they broke and axle on the trailer. We realize things like this happens but if our carport was on the trailer in Blanchard you would think they would get another trailer to bring it on to us. But, there was no explanation to when we would get our carport. We were told we would be put back in the scheduler system and when the workers were back in our area they would call and reschedule. We are a little over a week being 90 days waiting for this date. After trying to communicate with the scheduler from Carolina Carports who was so rude and unprofessional and not even be apologetic about the delay. We reached out to Alan's Factory Outlet where we placed the order. Karen was so nice and apologized for what we had been through. After speaking to Karen she said she would reach out to the scheduler from Carolina Carports. I decided to reach out to Carolina Carports one more time to see if I could get a date range that we would be rescheduled. Again, she was so rude and unprofessional. She has no business representing a company and should never be in customer service.Alan's has been so fair and we would recommend them to anyone but only if Carolina Carports were not one of their install contract companies.
