I first heard of Aman and his team while wandering through Costco at 2 p.m. on a weekday, with a Gmail inbox full of over a thousand rejections. I was nearing the point of giving up on a career in tech altogether. I joined this program with high hopes, but my experience has been disappointing overall. The price keeps increasing, nearly double what it was last year, yet the quality and structure feel the same. It feels like the program has shifted toward quantity over quality. With more than 300 participants, the support feels one-size-fits-all, and there is little sense of personalized guidance. There is also a renewal program that can cost up to around $1,000 a month, which makes the 100% job guarantee seem less meaningful. The environment often felt disorganized, with everything from introductions to help requests happening in the same shared space, and getting individual help often required posting publicly. Feedback was slow, and communication from coaches dropped off significantly after the initial two months. I personally experienced a negative and discouraging interaction with one coach, and overall it sometimes felt like the focus shifted toward upselling additional coaching rather than providing ongoing support.Most of the useful material is delivered in the first two months, but real interview opportunities often come later, and at that point, getting mock interviews or extra help was difficult. When I reached out for support before a potential job interview, I was initially denied additional help until I mentioned I was considering writing a review, after which multiple coaches suddenly reached out. The course material also felt outdated, relying heavily on motivational psychology rather than up-to-date technical training, and some assignments seemed unnecessarily tedious, almost as if designed to make it harder to qualify for the refund. Overall, the program feels built for scale rather than for people. It is high on quantity but low on personalization, and much of the experience feels like a one-size-fits-all approach rather than true mentorship.
I think its a very high quality program, where the resume review and leetcode help helped me a ton, where before I had weaknesses in my resume that I now realize I probably wouldn't have been able to figure out on my own or by putting it through ChatGPT. I got a lot more interviews thanks to the Accelerator and am a lot better at LeetCode! However, the program is a ton of work, and it's too expensive in my opinion for what it offers unless you're extremely desperate for an internship or job. Make sure you think about it thoroughly before you enroll.
This program has been incredibly worthwhile to me. I walked in with a good resume and technical skills, but still, I found my blind spots. It helps to have a network of career professionals guiding you every step of the way, and that has taken me much farther than trying to figure things out on my own.
Before I joined the accelerator, I was getting no interviews, did awful on online assessments, had a garbage resume, and didn't have a solid LinkedIn account. When I joined, I learned a ton about strengthening my resume to make it impossible to ignore, honing my LeetCode and interviewing skills, and even mock interviewing with FAANG recruiters/developers. This helped me land several interviews and eventually a full-time SWE offer. If you're a student or new grad looking for an internship/job, or even a regular software engineer in the market having a hard time, I strongly recommend joining this course. It is worth every penny.
Almost a month in the program, and I'm making great progress! Honestly my resume looks incredibly different from when I started and my LinkedIn is just something else. The networking strategy is awesome and got me my first referral!Though, I will say it's a lot of work. You need to be working extra hard for this or you will fall behind, especially if your not focusing on this full-time.But, the results make it 100% worth it. There's so much I would've never known if I didn't enroll in this program. This month was definitely a wake up call!It's also very nice that there are multiple coaches of different expertise. Just hearing the advice from each coach definitely provides a better understanding of how the tech industry works.
All of the coaches were extremely helpful in answering any questions I had, whether on the discussion forums/boards or through Zoom. I found the behavioral practice sessions to be the most helpful because I got feedback instantly, which helped me improve my communication skills and preparation.
When my company was laying off my colleagues I was afraid that I will be next. And some colleagues were struggling to find a job. I started cold applying early this year but it did not amount to anything. I came from a different country and I do not know the ropes of applying in the US so I joined and I am glad I did because after a month I got recruiter calls from Meta, Morgan Stanley etc. The students, coaches, modules, lectures are helpful. Super hyped that Aman included the psychology behind applying because that’s one of the areas I am interested in.
