I've been using their service for quite a while now and honestly, I'm impressed with how they handle returns. I had a small issue with my last order, contacted support, and they sorted it out within minutes. It’s hard to find this kind of consistency these days.
Purchased a vinyl record in December 2025. Item due February 17. Writing this March 2nd after trying and failing to contact the seller or Amazon. Seller is 'The World Shop USA'. Yes I should have researched them before buying....but the bigger issue is Amazon's 'system' designed to ensure one drifts in a continuous feedback loop of bots akin to Hotel California...you can check out, but you can never leave...nor get an answer or a refund. Amazon should not allow fraudulent operations like The World Shop USA to trade on their platform. It does. Shame on all of them. Last time I ever use Amazon for anything.
I ordered two items, each one a day apart. One item arrived a day later than what I was promised by Amazon as a Prime Member, the other hasn't arrived at all yet and is still showing a "Delayed, Has Not Shipped" status, even though it's been three days since I ordered it and two days since it was supposed to be delivered.
I called customer service to complain about this issue but they were of no help. I was able to refund the item that arrived late, but I only received a partial amount. I tried to cancel the item that says delayed, but wasn't able to. Amazon said I won't be charged until the item ships, but it did charge me the full price using the promotional credits I paid for the item with. They kept the credits but haven't delivered my items.
Amazon is one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. Initially, it was good, and all my orders were delivered through them. However, things have changed drastically; it's become the worst company. My orders now arrive with many defects. Furthermore, their customer service has become unkind, poorly managed, and aggressive.
Advertised delivery date changes after purchase, customer service is shocking cut you off without reason pass you around to everyone still no resolution after 2 days, deleting amazon completely as have become utterly useless.
I honestly love Amazon for it's choice, price and fast delivery but lately the delivery experience has gotten to be questionable, twice I have had my deliveries just left out in the front garden in the rain for anyone to see and take if they wanted to, although I am informed that my parcel has been delivered I am disabled and if it's not in the porch which by the way has the big 'Please Leave Parcels In Here' sign on the window (and which anyone else who delivers parcels can see quite easily) then I have to wait for my daughter to go fetch it in for me, this week my package was delivered to the wrong address, luckily the people were honest people, it wasn't a cheap item either, Amazon really needs to address it's delivery service issues, it's not as if my house number was even similar to the house number where my package was actually left, 77--81, is it..
More recently Amazon has got a thing about trying to force other sellers on to me, I have accounts with both Iceland and Morrisons already but Amazon is adamant that I want to buy certain items from them through my Amazon account, well 'No I Don't Amazon' thank you..
Review:
Amazon is holding my $95.84 gift card balance "hostage" by restricting it to digital-only purchases after my account was compromised by a verified scammer. My bank confirmed the fraud, yet Amazon's "Executive" team is treating ME like the criminal.
Andres C. (Executive Office) is a joke—he claimed "no glitches" exist, while a representative named Deany promised me a secure ID link over two months ago that never arrived. Mariam F. and Ana continue to give conflicting lies. They are ignoring my physical Purolator return receipts and bank-verified fraud.
They are violating BC Consumer Laws. I am following the precedent of the Oct 2025 Consumer Protection BC ruling (where Amazon was fined $20,000 for improper delivery and refund refusal). I am also joining the Actis Law Group / Consumer Law Group class-action lawsuit regarding their deceptive account practices. Do not trust these people with your money!
Amazon in general are less than useless! They dont listen or act on complaints and their drivers are some of the laziest in this industry!! I dont know if its a language barrier in which they should only be hiring people who can understand the language dont follow delivery notes and leave packages in public spaces. I would NOT recommend amazon to anyone!
I am extremely satisfied with my recent purchase from Amazon. The product arrived exactly on time and was perfectly packaged. As always, the customer service was very attentive. The wide variety of products and the benefits of Prime make shopping here a real pleasure. I highly recommend it
SUCK!!!! I've been trying for weeks to get my podcast removed. I've spoken to several unhelpful people, including 2 supervisors, chat through the site and sent out several emails. Still no response. I didn't add my podcast to Amazon, a 3rd party did. Spoke to 3rd party and they said because I no longer have my account contact Amazon podcast email. Outside of that, when I use afterpay for Amazon, they don't take the funds at once, and mess up the order. So, part of my order gets canceled. Sometimes ordering from Amazon the order doesn't go through and it'll be several days before finding out. Oh yeah, the customer service people seems not to listen to what I'm saying or just can't understand things.
