Review Time
Left my backpack on a bus from the airport so it ended in Galway depo. Instead of going there and back from Castlebar 65 km I chose the option to get it by courier -GLS, for which I paid 25 EUR. Got confirmation mail from CityLink that they posted it to me last Tuesday or 6 days ago.On their site it clearly says - domestic delivery usually takes les then 24 hours which was main reason for me to pay for it because I had very important documentation in it. I got it today after caling them, and thanks God the documents were there, with small charge on top of 25 EUROS paid for delivery - the perfume which I bought on the airport for more than 100 euros - Paco Rabanne Phantom was gone. All together - my experience - disgusted with a service Yeah and after my review I got an automated answer from GLS - sorry for my experience and to contact their customer service by mail...big joke when I rang them after 5 days they didn't have a clue where is my parcel,and backpack came in black bin bag with a loose knot on the top and 4 inches holes at the bottom -100% from rats eating it somewhere in a depo.No - i will not engage wit them, don't want to have anything with them after that!
Mickey is my GLS driver and he’s an absolute star. He always rings my doorbell and waits until I open the door. He even puts the heavy boxes in my hallway for me. When I’m not home he always leaves the parcel next to the door in the corner on top of the cat horse so it won’t get wet. I can’t recommend him enough. Top marks for Mickey!
