Review Time
I've used the Armor Shield IX on my cars and trucks for a few years now, but always kept it limited to the paint and glass. This last weekend, I was doing a full paint correction on a 2018 Ram 1500, all black. The mirrors are textured black plastic, and the running boards have a no slip coating. Both of these I've tried to treat with exterior trim dressings, back to black etc. And have always been disappointed. This time, I treated the mirrors and running boards with the Armor Shield, not expecting much, but boy, was I blown away. The running boards look like new, and the mirrors are now a feature, instead of detracting from the full picture. Naturally, I then treated every other black plastic or rubber piece. The pad on the rear bumper, the rolling tonneau cover, everything. This truck is a show stopper now.
A few products I use for my business, 1 the ceramic light is a must have this stuff is amazing as a topper or just a spray on, its so easy to use, next the Max is a great coating for beginners or more advanced installers, its so easy to use and 4 hour cure time had me sold, next the GOAT now it's a bit pricey but it's an amazing product! I installed it on a Jeep Gladiator maybe two years ago and still holding up very well, also very easy to use! And try there MF towels there great for wiping compounds.
I am a full time detailer for the past 6 years and have ceramic coated over 500 vehicles, including boats, airplanes, and RV's..I only use Avalon King and have never had a failure or comeback. I have tried others, however none are as easy and as glossy as Avalon King. Their claim of at least 2 years is extremely accurate as most of my customers get 3+ year out of the coating. The customer service is second to none and I should know being is sales prior to full time detailing after retirement. Shipping is just a couple of days and never once have I had a delay. I buy typically in lots of 10 given that I only doing Ceramic Coating and no sealants or wax. If I am going to spend the time in prep work it's getting a coating. I am proud to recommend to all my customers the lineup of Avalon King products to all of my customers after I coat their vehicle etc...
As a lifelong wax guy, I was amazed at how easy this was (lots of prep, but the application was dead simple). I've treated my 2015 Mercedes three times in 10 years and getting ready for the fourth (AZ sun is punishing). Did my wife's 2012 Nissan, and it suddenly looks like it just rolled off the assembly line.
