'Emergency cover' is a joke. Minor leak in a pipe ended up with substantial damage, no water, and no lighting downstairs due to delays. First engineer (after day wait) found the leak but couldn't fix because he needed 'access' and had run out of time. Access is covered under our building and contents insurance but not, apparently, under emergency cover. Having taken up the carpet and floorboards ourselves we were told it would be another day before anyone could get out to us. This cover is not suitable for the elderly, or anyone not willing and able to do it yourself.
I need to change my car insurance a couple days ahead of buying a new car. It was a very easy transaction and saved me money, rather than using the telephone. It was done quickly and with no fuss.

This experience has been extremely disappointing, and I strongly advise against using their services. I've since switched to a more reliable provider for home emergency care.
The insurance provider directed me to unreliable individuals for car repairs after an accident, and they show no interest in addressing the necessary rectification work. This situation has persisted since September, and I'm contemplating legal action. I strongly recommend avoiding this insurance provider.
