The interior decorations were quite shabby, featuring only a few fairy lights and wood chips on the floor along with some Christmas trees. The entertainment was mediocre, and the website lacks sufficient information, leading to an hour wasted on overpriced drinks. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing and doesn't compare to similar offerings elsewhere. I would NOT recommend it—it's better to stay home or visit a regular cinema. Additionally, the restrooms were in poor condition, which further marred the experience.
We frequently visited a previous location that was excellent, so we had high hopes for the new site nearby. Unfortunately, it was dreadful and not worth the cost at all. The pre-show entertainment was mediocre, featuring only a few performers and a hula hoop act. The themed area was poorly designed with sparse decorations, far from what we had previously enjoyed. There was also a strong odor of fuel in the air, which gave me a headache. If someone tall sits in front of you, you can’t see anything, and I felt bad for the kids who couldn’t enjoy the show. The comfortable seating has been replaced with retro cinema chairs, and outside noise was distracting. It felt like a cash grab rather than a genuine experience. I strongly advise against attending; what a disappointment.
The interior was poorly decorated and the experience consisted of minimal festive elements like some lights and a few Christmas trees. The entertainers were just average, and the lack of information on the website led to a frustrating wait with overpriced drinks. Overall, it was an extremely unsatisfactory experience, especially compared to the previous location. I would NOT suggest going here; staying home or visiting a standard cinema would be a better choice. Also, the restrooms were in poor condition, further ruining the experience.
We had great experiences at another location, but this one near the bridge was very disappointing. There’s no need to arrive an hour early. The pre-show entertainment was lackluster, and the themed area was unimpressive. The mulled wine was diluted, and there was no hot chocolate available. The seating has changed from comfortable bean bags to uncomfortable retro chairs, making it hard to see if you’re seated towards the back. There was no ambiance, and outside noise was distracting. Save your money; I wouldn’t recommend this place.
I am very upset with this cinema. When purchasing tickets, the time clearly stated 12:00, with a note that no one would be admitted after 12:15. There was no information about the movie's end time, and the duration was listed as 1 hour 30 minutes. However, upon arrival, we were informed that the movie actually starts at 13:00, leaving us to sit at tables while they tried to sell drinks, with no food available. To make matters worse, they confiscated our backpack containing food for the kids, who then became hungry. This schedule change caused us to miss another event we had planned! I'm extremely frustrated; the entire day was ruined.
I visited the location last night to watch a film and had an amazing time. The setup was fantastic, with excellent performers and friendly staff. The seats were comfy and it was warm inside. Highly recommended; I will definitely return!
I was really looking forward to this production, but the sound quality and overall production were lacking. The narrator's performance felt amateurish, and I struggled to hear him. At one point, the audience laughed when his face appeared on the screen. The staging was subpar, resembling a school play. The live performance and film didn't mesh well. While the band and singers were good, the poor sound quality made it hard to enjoy.
The screen was dim, the sound was terrible, and some actors weren't well-lit, making it hard to see during their short monologues. The seating was uncomfortable, leading to an overall unsatisfactory experience. To improve this production, more investment is needed in sound, audience engagement, and theming.
During a showing in Liverpool, many people left early. The seats were uncomfortable, and the viewing experience on a dim screen with poor sound was not immersive. The event started with a few performers singing popular songs, while an actor delivered monologues from different areas, which left the audience confused about when the show ended. A simple announcement would have helped. It was distracting to see so many people leaving, and I found myself watching the exits more than the film. It wasn't worth the money spent. I expected the songs to complement the film, but there were no special props or themed drinks. We left before it ended due to our disappointment and struggled to find staff to voice our concerns.
