I wanted to buy Mazzer Philos and found Bailies coffee is having a great deal over end of year. They have a 10% code on top of a special offer. The only hesitation for me is if I can trust them to place the order. I kept trying to find more relevant reviews and only 2 from Trustpilot. One of them emphasized it’s reliable. Plus using a credit card can have extra protection in case of a scam. I went ahead and placed my order and found that they are truly with their word. They posted it on the 5th and provided me the tracking through email. Shop app picked up the tracking and DPD delivered it in a perfect state. The package is brand new in perfect condition. They deserve more recommendations for people to buy from them. Well done !! I may try their coffee soon.
I have to admit, I was a little dubious about ordering from them as they were quite a bit cheaper than elsewhere (ordered a Mazzer Philos coffee grinder). Order arrived today and the communication throughout was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bailies coffee roasters and would 100% use them again. It's also very reassuring that they pick up the phone and you can speak to a human very quickly!
Bought the Sage Dynamic Duo Dual Boiler coffee machine, with a free grinder. Best price by far on the internet, particularly after using the 10% off code which I am usually a little worried about ……….. if it seems too good to be true, it usually is, type thing. However I was absolutely blown away with the ease of ordering and delivery. I telephoned the office in Belfast, just to help ease my worries, before placing the order. The lady said it should be delivered in two days, and it was! The only small criticism I could have was that there was no email communication from either the company or ‘Shop’ to say it had been despatched, was out for delivery or even that it had been delivered. Luckily someone was at home when it arrived otherwise I’m not sure what would’ve happened. Apart from that, don’t hesitate to place an order with this company, they certainly do what they say they will do, at the price they say!!
Bailies Coffee Roasters was a trusted source we'd previously been quite happy with - no shrinkflation - still 250g bags of beans, no skimflation - quality beans and blends, no more inflation than is reasonable in these times (and no exaggerated 'use-by-date' of a year or more), and quality customer service. Also, along with the above, to be on our 'list' of preferred sources Bailies were pretty much 'roast-&-post', meaning that the beans we received were roasted no more than a day or two from being posted to us. It has been awhile since we last ordered from Bailies, but for Christmas, for ourselves and others, we'd put in an order for 5 bags of beans. Here's where two stars dropped off this review - the beans that arrived had been roasted 10 days previous to arriving here. And, printed on their bags are these generally accepted words of wisdom: "Best within 3 weeks"... The third star was lost to a lack of response of any kind after we'd immediately written Bailies with our concern about this - nadda! Dim byd! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Update - 06/12/2024: We've heard back, with some understandable explanations for their 'slips', and the kindness of their Christmas Blend - 'tis the season! So, in appreciation and hope our disappointment was a fluke, and in response to their kind addition to our coffee pleasures, this has gone up two stars to four, and I've no doubt that when things settle down and we order again it will be a 5 star service.
