This app used to be a fun way to share music. Although my posts didn’t attract a lot of attention, I often received valuable feedback and engagement. Since it shifted to a pay-for-plays model, it has really declined. I’ve had to limit my messages to followers only because, for the past two years, every message has been spam or scams—people trying to 'promote' services that are clearly not legitimate, or individuals posing as record labels looking for money, or fake profiles attempting to deceive. This app has become a letdown; the only redeeming feature was the free recording software, but now even the worthwhile features come with a cost. I prefer other platforms that, while they have paid options, don’t push them so aggressively and still allow for good exposure without fees.
This app was once a great platform for sharing music. While my posts didn’t garner much attention, I often received constructive feedback and engagement. However, since it became a pay-for-plays platform, its quality has significantly dropped. I've had to restrict my messages to followers only, as for the past two years, every message has been spam or scams—people claiming to 'promote' services that are not legitimate, or individuals pretending to be interested record labels asking for money, or fake profiles trying to deceive. This app has turned into a disappointment; the only positive aspect was the free recording software, but now even the valuable features require payment. I prefer other platforms that, while they have paid features, don’t shove them down users' throats and still provide decent exposure without costs.
The platform has immense potential, but constant glitches render it nearly unusable. It’s frustrating to have to close and reopen songs just to move tracks or extend loops. I'm wasting so much production time by switching to this platform.
They market themselves as a free mastering tool, but that’s far from the truth. You can’t even save a single 'mastered' track without paying for some membership. Furthermore, as another user noted, their 'mastering' just adds extra gain without enhancing the sound quality.
I saw a deal I wanted, then it was taken away and I was forced into a free trial that offered less. I wanted to upload music to a streaming platform, so I attempted the free trial, investing time into preparing 12 songs according to their requirements, but then found out the trial doesn’t allow uploads. Why have it at all? Now I’ve canceled the useless trial, but I still can’t upload music and have to wait four days for it to expire. They won’t even let me pay for their service; the free trial is just a barrier to using the platform—what a joke.
I’m puzzled how artists manage to create music here. I only use the looper for copyrighted material in my songs. Also, the push for Premium is excessive, and the ads are overwhelming. As for music distribution? That seems unlikely to be effective.
