Usually, people come here to complain. That's what I did about a year ago, because of the incomprehensible attitude of this bank's staff.
But this time it's the opposite. The collaboration and help of a team that listened to me, and helped me, allowed me to recover around €500 from a credit card payment that was believed to be completely lost.

The quality of a bank is determined by all those who deal with customers on the phone and in person every day, not by its shareholders.
45 minutes and still waiting. One person working and 10 in line. This bank is ridiculously inefficient at every turn. Every single time I set foot in one of their offices it is the absolute worst part of my day. How are these people still in business?

My BBVA account was completely blocked while I was trying to pay my rent. I lost all access to my own money and never received a physical debit card. I visited two different BBVA branches and called customer service multiple times, but everyone kept redirecting me and nothing was resolved. I was left without access to my funds for days. Extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience.
Keep away from these swindlers. They taken two thousand euros now I only got 1000 euros. To close the account I will need to go down to nil they will take the last euros from my account Being English they took advantage of me as I cannot speak Spanish. I live in the U.K. I will try to get Spainish authority involved. The branch was in Toremolinos southern Spain. They refused that I take money or transfer to another bank no advice the account will close when it becomes nil. Plain stealing. Never trust the Spanish Banks especially if you are English speaker that don’t understand Spanish!!!!!
Out of the blue, BBVA accounts now cannot be used to top up Revolut cards. No notification, no warning, they just stopped working. Then, the bank decided to block all my online transactions too. Could not even do grocery shopping! And when I called customer service, the only thing they said is "this is how it works". No apologies, not trying to resolve the issue. NOTHING. Worst customer service experience ever.
