Bimmer Remote did a terrific job updating the iDrive firmware and enabling CarPlay functionality on my F48 X1! The coding process was a bit surreal, but effective, and with a WiFi antenna previously added to my head unit, I now am very pleased to have wireless CarPlay active.

I was so nervous about upgrading my idrive. I had a bad experience with a mmi box last year and even with updated maps I was struggling with all the new road works road my way and I really missed using google maps so I took the plunge and booked in to have my ideive upgraded & CarPlay added. It’s just wonderful and so reassuring to have google maps on my headunit. Took less than an hour and instructions were easy to follow and they are excellent at their job!
I paid, downloaded and had installed this in my 2017 BMW 440i in less than 15 mins. It's awesome. Easy-to-follow instructions, and works great. It was the one thing that was missing from my new/used car and now everything is on point.
