I purchased a variety pack of Blue Buffalo kitten food—marketed as “premium.” Several cans were underfilled. Not dented, not damaged—just clearly short of what I paid for. I contacted their support team, provided the UPC, lot number, best-by date, and proof of purchase. The response? A canned message telling me to return opened cat food to a store I don’t even visit (I shop online). Then I was told I could mail in the UPC and physical receipt (which I don’t have) to their legal department, wait 4–6 weeks, and maybe get a refund.Their “100% satisfaction guarantee” is pure marketing. They refused to replace the defective product and ignored a follow-up email. I paid a premium price for high-quality food. What I got was poor quality and worse customer service.Shop with caution—Blue Buffalo doesn’t stand behind its product when it matters.
I bought tasteful wet canned food for my cat which I thought was reputable company cuz of the commercial about blue and how the guy started this dog food. So I thought my cat would benefit from it but she turned her nose up at it and she loves wet food over dry food. It took me a while to figure it out but when the feral cat outside wouldn't eat it especially the chicken entree pate I put two and two together and started looking at some reviews. The vets are saying that it could cause heart failure I don't know what ingredients are in it but I'm so ticked off and now I can't even feed to the feral cat. I don't want to feed it to the raccoon outside cuz he'll just keep coming around so do you want it back?! Now I don't know if my cat is having heart failure she has been staying to herself and not socializing as much as she used to. I think Fancy Feast is better than this stuff!I had to give it a one star just to get a review in. I'm so ticked off that I could be killing my cat thinking I was giving a healthy food.
Says they have all natural ingredients but that is a lie. I am so thankful that I looked at their ingredients instead of listening to their commercials when I got my puppy 5 years ago. You need to look into it before you buy this. There are probably 30 ingredients inside something that is supposed to be all natural. Also, has natural flavors that can be almost anything. Do better Blue Buffalo
I believed the commercial about the man that lost his dog Blue and loved him so much he started dog food company because he cared about dogs so much. Another lie I believed. So exhausting and disappointing to keep up with all the lies. If that is too harsh a word I could use another word but only one I know for something intentionally told to mislead. I have been buying this expensive product for snoopy my Jack Russell terrier for a while now The first five ingredients listed on the package of health bars are bad for dogs and other ingredients too. All I’m gonna say
I have repeatedly had problems with BLUE products being delivered without the inserted QR CODES (they are scanned to use for product redemptions). Trying to contact the company with the inquery form is now resulting in their form "crashing". Very frustrating for me as a loyal customer.
My part Bengal cat has been on Blue Buffalo for almost 10 years! I got him in 2011 and briefly had him on other food after adopting him but switched him to the duck formula Blue Buffalo (green bag!) and he’s a healthy hooligan cat all this time! He is about to turn 10 years old and I felt like your company needed to hear about him. He’s healthy, healthy weight and his fur silky!
Blue was rated online as a top pick for small breed dogs. Started my Frenchie on puppy formula and when I went to the same flavor in the adult. My dog broke out with a food allergy. After calling Blue I became frustrated, their customer service could not answer my question; what is ingredient difference between them, but could not get answer. After asking the question several different ways it became clear they were evading telling me the truth. They suggest the limited ingredient recipe of Chicken and Potato. So if one looks up known dog food allergens chicken is at the top. Perhaps I am wrong but I was told potatoes are harmful to dogs, but apparently Blue makes & recommended their Chicken & Potato recipe. I really feel jaded by their marketing, in reality this company just make inferior products with exceptional marketing that makes the believe otherwise.
