Incredible! No benefits for all the money they take!

Incredible! They take all the money but offer no benefits! Completely ineffective. We sought a biopsy to determine if my wife has cancer. They simply denied our claim, stating 'it's not covered.' What? This is outrageous! If you don't cover cancer tests and treatments, what is the purpose of your service?

Tourist trap equivalent of an insurance

Unbelievable! They take all your money but provide absolutely no benefits! Completely ineffective. We sought a biopsy to check if my wife has cancer. Extremely challenging to deal with

This service is incredibly challenging to navigate. Communication is frustrating, responses are slow or unhelpful, and the overall experience feels designed to exhaust customers instead of providing support. It's concerning that such a large company doesn't allow feedback on platforms like Google, as transparency and accountability are crucial, especially in insurance. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend them.

This company lacks compassion

This company is weak and unyielding. They refuse to provide travel insurance for a stage 4 cancer survivor. Despite completing six rounds of chemotherapy and following prescribed treatments, they still deny coverage. There should be special provisions for individuals like me who are fighting this disease.

Avoid this service at all costs

The website wastes time with numerous questions only to tell you to 'start again' at the end. A representative misled me about a competitor's coverage to sell me a trip cancellation policy. I signed up, but the competitor's policy was both cheaper and better. When I attempted to cancel the policy online, I encountered 'Technical Problems. Try Again.' Now, I'm on hold with customer service, and no one is answering. Avoid this service!

Exercise caution with this company

After moving from one province to another, I contacted the company in advance to confirm my coverage transfer. They provided incorrect information. Since then, it has been a chaotic experience with poor communication and disappointing coverage compared to what I previously had. Had they given me honest information, I would not have moved. I filed a complaint, but they denied responsibility for the stress caused over the past year. I am very disappointed. Be cautious when signing up as an individual; their current practices do not reflect their past reputation.

Mixed experiences based on representatives

My experience varies depending on who I speak with (hence the average rating). I had a negative encounter with one representative but then a positive one the next day. If I had another disappointing response, I would try again the next day. By chance, the next representative might be different. I'd recommend this strategy to address any unfair issues. People have different approaches, and there are many working in this field. If I could recall the names of those I spoke with, I could provide more specific feedback.

Claims consistently denied

They deny all my travel claims that I believe I am covered for under specific veteran lines. They seem to play games with claims, blaming each other in a frustrating cycle. I do not recommend this service. Look for someone else to assist you; if they can't support over 40,000 veterans who served proudly, how can they support you?

Not impressed

Even when submitting claims online, it takes 10 business days for processing. This is strange considering that many claims are automatically approved or rejected by the system. I'm not impressed.
