This company is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I purchased a pair of skis from them, paid for the skis and paid for shipping, received the skis, and then got a bill from Fedex for over $90 to pay for customs. When I asked Bobleisure to cover this cost, they refused. Nowhere during the purchase process was I informed that I would need to pay for customs for the skis. I had no idea where the skis were being sent from. I didn't even know this was a possibility. I've never had to pay for customs for a product sent to me from a reputable company. If you don't want to pay an extra $90+ for anything you buy, then don't buy from this company.
Also, I tried to post a Google review, but they don't allow that so I'm not sure where they fabricated all of those reviews from. What a joke of a company, I can't believe they've gotten away with these deceitful actions without being investigated.
I've noticed several recent reviews mentioning similar issues, and I wish this feedback reaches the company's leadership. There has been a significant delay in processing my order, and I'm currently attempting to cancel it for a refund. I've contacted the support team twice via message and email but have not received any response.
After mistakenly ordering the wrong size for my sleeping pad, I attempted to cancel my order just a few hours later, well within the indicated 12-hour window. I'm unsure if my cancellation request has been acknowledged or processed. There are no clear options to cancel or contact anyone directly. It seems like customer support is lacking - proceed with caution.
The support team was highly responsive and provided detailed email correspondence to assist me with the warranty claim and exchange process, which was made challenging since the seller no longer had the same model available. Although the date mentioned below reflects our last communication, the entire process lasted around 8 months and included at least ten emails from the representatives.
I placed an order from Canada and everything went smoothly regarding customs. As mentioned on the website, the total was just over $10, and I paid the usual HST, which is completely expected! I purchased some bindings for my new skis. This is my second set, and I highly recommend adding the free ride spacer for extra stability!
