Never told us that you required all the documents before we signed up for the car insurance until a week after we had the car insurance. Cancelled the policy because they wanted personal information. I lost £200 because of cancellation fees.

Worst insurance company!!!!

I had an accident on Friday. I called the number provided on their app and I was told I will be contacted within 48 hours and was given a ref number. I called on Monday to check the status and was told that I do not qualify for accident cover and courtesy car, and I needed to get in touch with boom directly as they were third party. Boom do not have any number and the only way to get in touch is via chat bot.

I contacted boom via chat bot on Tuesday morning and the rep confirmed that I have comprehensive policy with them and said they can’t do anything as all claims are dealt by third party and I Need to call claims team.

It’s been 5 days since the accident and no one is taking responsibility while I’m suffering.

They are terrible. They advertise as a digital insurance company and allow you to purchase your insurance online, but when you want to cancel, you can only do this by chatting to someone online and this is only possible 9am to 5pm on weekdays. I have also been charged £75 cancellation fee.

ABSOLUTELY SCAMMERS AND FRAUDULENT COMPANY. I TOOK OUT A POLICY WITH AND NEEDED TO CANCEL IT AND THEY CHARGE £75 (£25 CANCELLATION FEE AND £50 NON REFUNDABLE POLICY SETUP) ,THE POLICY WAS DUE TO START IN A WEEK. YES I SHOULD HAVE READ T&C BUT THIS IS JUST NOT RIGHT. HOW CAN YOU CHARGE £75 TO CANCEL SOMETHING I BOUGHT 1 HOUR AGO. RIDICULOUS
