I really like the product (Rocky55) in terms of fit, finish, and function - I've had problems with the temperature regulation when in the dual zone mode. But the company has been extremely responsive in terms of troubleshooting and ultimately replacing the unit when it was determined that it was not fixable on my end.
The communication via email was perfect. Their understanding of the problem and they offered to handle it free of charge, even though the refrigerator was out of warranty. They also followed up when the part shipped and wanted feedback. All of this is what you would expect from a well run, reputable company.
Right from the moment I placed my order, the service was impressive! They dispatched my order promptly with no delays. I received my order incredibly fast, unlike other platforms where it can take days or even over a week for shipment. If I could give this company an even higher rating, I definitely would!
As a first-time buyer, I tried to purchase a heated blanket. A few days later, I received an email requesting a video of my credit card and images of my bank statements? I attempted to reach their customer service multiple times with no answer. I left several voicemails and received no reply. I also tried contacting them via email and through social media, but there was no response. It feels like they are fishing for personal information and the whole situation seems very suspicious. I wouldn’t recommend them.
I ordered a diesel heater from the website, which claimed to work with their 277wh power station. However, upon receiving it and examining the technical specifications, I realized that this power station lacked the necessary wattage to operate the heater. I reached out to the support team, and they mentioned an improvement to the power station that wasn't disclosed anywhere on the product or packaging. I also found a video online indicating that the heater wouldn't function with this power station due to insufficient power. Although some suggested it might work momentarily, I was skeptical. I requested a refund, but they insisted the power station was adequate and that I would need to cover the return shipping costs. I believe it's unfair to sell a product that doesn't meet the advertised purpose. Additionally, they frequently alter item prices, creating a false sense of a bargain. The way they marketed this power station was misleading, suggesting it could be bundled with a solar panel. I suspect they are struggling to sell it, leading them to offer it alongside the 5kw heater. After much back and forth, I opted to sell the power station myself, ultimately taking a loss. I felt deceived by the company and, honestly, I won't consider purchasing from them again.
The diesel heater is impressive. I’m using it in Alaska to heat my chicken coop. It’s well-built and endured 50+ mph winds during a four-day blizzard in subzero temperatures. When the power went out, I connected it to my generator and kept my chickens warm. Other items blew away, but my heater stayed put. I’m very impressed, and while I would give it five stars, I had to ship it to my son first because shipping to Alaska isn't available. As an Alaskan, we often have to pay extra for quality goods.
I've been using the refrigerator/freezer daily for almost two months, and it has functioned perfectly. I’ve powered it using my solar battery pack, cigarette lighter, and electrical outlets. It keeps cool without power for a surprisingly good duration. Shipping and delivery were prompt. My only issue is that I wish it had an extendable handle and wheels for easier mobility. I would definitely buy another and recommend it. I continue to use it while boondocking and hope it holds up well.
