I just hope to complete the latin American Spanish course with the speaking and the AI exercises just like you have in the Castilian course, and please keep improving the latin American course because it's the most speaking and learning accent in the world
I highly recommend this site for studying foreign languages. I have a paid subscription that includes access to AI features and study suggestions.
It would definitely be better to have built-in vocabulary learning functionality (such as flashcards) and expanded access to grammar rules.
Very good app. Easy to learn new concepts. Contains vocabulary and grammar repetition system. Has AI communication elements. Listening, reading, speaking, grammar practices are implemented. You can even do shadowing by repeating phrases and intonation.
Can be improved: Some expressions and the accent of the speakers are not very clear and too fast.
AVOID. It's a glorified version of duolingo. It has a couple things I enjoyed more than dl, but both are far from great. Normally, I'd give that 3 stars or so, however, I stopped using the service, cancelled my subscription. I was STILL charged for renewal, had to REcancel and was not issued a refund. Completely unacceptable practice.
I love that I have an interactive way to learn new languages. It allows me to practice when it is convenient. It also teaches me how to speak and to write the language at the same time.
Busuu is one of the top apps for learning English that I've encountered. It offers more exercises and is more comprehensive than other platforms.
If I could suggest an improvement, I would recommend enhancing the English exercises, particularly for the B2 and C1 levels, as there seems to be a lack of grammar exercises at these stages.
Furthermore, greater focus on the listening exercises would be beneficial. It appears that many of the voices in the app are not authentic and might be technology-generated. Having voices from native speakers (British or American) would greatly aid learners in enhancing their listening skills.
Lastly, while I am aware of the section for American English, having an additional section for British English would be very helpful, especially for European learners who often prefer British English.
I would be willing to pay more if the quality of content improved.
The service I received was exceptional, ensuring my rights were well protected. The software is also impressively designed. A member of the team provided me with remarkable support and demonstrated a high level of professionalism.
The app is quite useful, which led me to purchase a subscription after trying the free version. I was eager to learn Russian and looked forward to the promised features with the subscription. Unfortunately, I feel like I wasted my money: none of the features are available for that language. I opted for the pricier plan, which included AI speaking practices, but they are not accessible. While I no longer see ads, I wouldn't have spent so much just for that. Overall, there is really not much more to it.
I’m currently using Busuu to learn Japanese, and it’s definitely a solid starting point. The lessons are easy to follow, and having them on my phone for on-the-go learning is really convenient. However, while I’m enjoying the app, I find that I personally learn much better in a dedicated offline environment.
It’s not a 'one-stop shop' for mastering Japanese, but it builds a good foundation. One thing I’d love to see is a feature for local offline courses—where users could sign up as teachers and organize in-person meetups or lessons through the platform. Having that physical space to practice what I learn on the app would make this a 5-star experience for me!
I am very dissatisfied with the service. I was billed for an annual subscription renewal without any prior notice or reminder. This feels exploitative and is not transparent. I have reached out to the support team multiple times for a refund, but they have not responded. It's unacceptable to take money from customers and then not engage with them. I demand a full refund immediately.
