Customer service were really helpful before I placed my order, working with me to help me find the best deal and cases to suit the event we were buying for! The website was easy to navigate, find what I wanted and how much itd be. Once the order was placed, it arrived very promptly and was well packaged.
Had an issue (of my own making) so emailed them to rectify and they went above and beyond to fix it, really impressed! We've not got round to playing yet but customer service is great
Was really great. The only thing that was a little frustrating was that the tech side of it was painfully slow. Probably due to it being Valentine’s Day and the servers being under stress. Apart from that a really enjoyable experience and would deffo do again.
We picked up Kiss of Death: The Missing Truth expecting a light mystery. Four hours later we were still at the table, fully absorbed, because it does something rare: it makes you feel like you are genuinely building a case, not just following a script.
The physical evidence is brilliantly designed. Each document feels purposeful, and the variety keeps the pace moving. One moment you are cross-checking names and timelines, the next you are debating motive, testing assumptions, and revisiting earlier “facts” with new suspicion. It rewards careful reading without ever becoming fiddly or frustrating.
What really stood out was the way the digital elements extend the story rather than distract from it. It adds just enough realism to make the investigation feel contemporary and immersive, and it creates those great group moments where everyone is leaning in, arguing their corner, and suddenly someone spots the detail that changes everything.
It is also genuinely well paced. We never hit a lull, and we finished feeling satisfied rather than exhausted. If you want an evening that feels like a proper shared experience, this is spot on.
Perfect for around four hours of focused fun, and honestly one of the most engaging at-home mystery games we have played. Already looking forward to the next case.
Great concept terrible system!
We purchased for the first time to do something different this valentine's. The servers were down and it ment we couldnt progress through the investigation. We were so disappointed we had wasted our night. I would expect a refund as it wasn't fit for use. Especially as it was sold as a valentine's special. Instead of offering any compensation or a heartfelt response we got nothing. Also messages being deleted on social media and people being blocked is not on. Really unprofessional! Will not be supporting this company again!
Ordered a kiss of death case for valentines day. Couldn't do the majority because it requires interaction with their website, which kept crashing. They experienced 'unprecedented' demand, despite knowing how many orders they shipped marketed for valentines day. Absolute disaster and incredibly frustrating.
I can forgive the absolute oversight of not enough server space on valentines day but the online content for Love You To Death was full of crucial typos so wouldn't have helped you solve it anyways. We've also had typos on the Vineyard one. Typos in this kind of product is just a bad product and that will stop me from buying again.
Enjoyable but so frustrating that none of the online content worked. We were unable to complete and just gave up in the end.
You must have known how many you sold ahead of Valentines day so it was very poor to not have load tested your servers.
Really looked forward to doing this with my husband on Valentines however all the links and qr codes wouldn't load properly and left bad gateway on screens or took forever. This made it impossible to complete and turned what should have been a fun night into a stressful one full of disappointment.
Haven’t learnt from their mistakes.
Bought the Valentine’s Day game - their servers clearly crashed with the demand - couldn’t make any progress, waste of money and will be looking for a refund.
This appears to be a trend for popular dates, ie reviews mirror this for NYE… the formula is simple to determine their bandwidth requirements for peak times, so clearly they either don’t care or are incapable of doing basic tasks… neither of which gives me any reason to come back in the future, and would strongly advise against unless you like being disappointed too
Edit: if you leave any negative comments on their social media, they delete it! Disgusting company!
