I purchased three dresses believing I was dealing with a reputable boutique. I received confirmation from one name but shipping info from another. The dresses that arrived were completely different from what was advertised and unwearable.
I ordered two beautiful sweaters online, but what I received was nothing like what I expected. It was a sweatshirt with painted flowers, not a lovely mohair sweater. When I requested a return, I was informed that returning it would be costly and time-consuming. They offered a 15% refund instead, which I reluctantly accepted, as I didn't want to deal with the hassle. This place is a complete scam! Don't fall for their fake website!
I ordered two sweaters thinking they were from a local boutique. They intentionally mislead customers. The items received were of terrible quality and did not match the website. Now, they are offering me a partial refund or the option to pay for international shipping to return them. I demanded a full refund since the items were shipped domestically. I have stopped payment on my credit card and will report them to the local consumer affairs department. This company is definitely a fraud.
This company goes to great lengths to appear as a legitimate American business; however, it’s just another overseas seller offering subpar products. I have requested a refund three times but have only received partial offers, consistent with other problematic overseas companies. I have reported them to my credit card provider and will file a complaint with the consumer protection agency.
I received what I ordered - the Lily pants - but the fabric is revolting. This company presents itself as from the US but is also a front for a company called 'Hamilton Boutique Queensland'. The merchandise presents as being suitable for a sub-tropical climate - my 95% polyester pants won't breathe one atom of air. Won't be using this company again.
I picked one star because there is no box for zero. This is a scam. The website makes it appear you are purchasing from a high quality boutique in Charleston when you are really buying from a cheep warehouse in China. It takes a ridiculously long time to receive the order and the quality is nothing like it appears to be. Then there is no provision for a full refund without paying to ship the item back to China. Don't fall for it like I I did!
DON’T ORDER FROM THIS SITE Susan & Mary Charleston. The shoes took weeks to be delivered and items received were cheaply made. Tried returning because the size was wrong and they cheaply made. The customer service said I could pay for shipping to exchange the items, which was half of the total purchase, but getting a refund was not an option unless I paid for the international shipping costs. This is a fraudulent site.
Via and add on Facebook, I purchased a dress through the online shopping store branded “Hamilton Boutique Queensland’. The purchase price was $59:95, a relatively small purchase and photographs and “testimonials?’ were positive. However emails and messages advising dispatch and tracking came from “Charleston Boutique”. Other names tied up in this SHOPPING SCAM include Aussie Look MelbourneOn receipt of the order, the garment was very obviously not ‘Merchantable Quality’; a very cheep fabric with poor and very puckered stitching (see comparative photos)Prompted to carry out further research, I discovered a considerable number of web reviews suggesting that the supplier, Hamilton Boutique is a Shopping Scam. The Hamilton Boutique returns policy is clearly stated, full refund if the purchaser pays the return postage. The return address is “their overseas dispatch warehouse” and the postage cost was quoted at $60, so that is not a sensible option. On communicating with the company via email, I was initially offered a 15% refund and I could keep the garment. Keeping the Garment is of no value, it is not useable! A subsequent 4 emails lifted the refund offered to 50% which I have reluctantly accepted, (but as yet have not received the refund)Hamilton Boutique have a website that appears to be in Queensland, but I am certain that this is fake. Further investigation came up with a very similar website for “Aussie Look” which pretends to be in Melbourne. Both ‘Hamilton Boutique’ and ‘Aussie Look’ have the same ‘look and feel’ and offer the exact range of fashions at the same prices, with the same terms and conditions for things like ‘returns policy’. Neither quote an ABN.The Scammer’s business model is simple, most are likely to accept the initial 15% offer, some may negotiate a 30% refund, and a few a 50% refund. The cost of manufacture and postage is likely to be under $30, so even with 100% of garments returned the Scammer is still ahead,
